Our Beliefs

The Mississippi Progressive PAC vehemently opposes the Watchman Decree, the Trump Party, Project 2025, Agenda 47 and its policies. These groups wish to combine the Church and the State, the elimination of a free press and the elimination of freedom of religion and give the President divine authority. We believe these groups to be violent and pose physical harm to those that did not worship or share their values.

We believe that our Constitutional Rights are being challenged daily and are in extreme danger of being eliminated by these groups and others that wish to impose their beliefs on all others.

The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.

The text of the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom gives great insight into our nation’s First Amendment right. It reads: “… no man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced … in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinion in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.”

Read the Watchman Decree very carefully. It is a physical threat of violence to you and me. It is a literal threat to our freedoms.
